I think these poi are a game changer in the world’s LED poi market.
An LED rope?! The future definitely must be now already!
The functionality of this rope does not compromise its suitability for spinning; on its own, it is a perfect rope for poi.
After some re-balancing based on my request, the weight of the knob and the poi head is (at least for me) ideal - not too light, not too heavy. They’re squishy and don’t make any annoying sound when dropped - and I’ve been thoroughly dropping them for over a month now which they’ve proved their durability.
The orientation in the LED modes is easy, as well as the very basic brightness settings. There are cool trippy modes, as well as very decent, simple ones. They come already paired, and unlike some other pairable poi, you can turn off only one, or choose to turn them all together, without the need to pair or unpair them. Sounds like a detail, but in many cases, this comes out very handy!
I have a few propositions about how to make the next generation even better, but already, given the LED rope and simple, understandable control, they definitely stand out for me.
